Our distilleries in Kannauj are based on the traditional attar-making process devised around 5,000 years ago. Pure saffron is put in a big container and heated from the bottom. The steam containing the fragrance is then collected in another vessel. This process is also known as the ‘Deg & Bhapka’ method. The final Saffron perfume oil has a reddish-brown colour.
